It’s Our Year

Do you feel like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is emerging to change the way we live, work, and feel? I feel an incredible wave of optimism and opportunity, because frankly, is there a better way to approach this next revolution around the sun? I don’t know about you, but I am so. done. with this endless feedback loop of anxious, sick and tired.

The social, cultural, and operational shifts that 2020 brought us also brought a new focus, a new awareness of what we value. We’re used to being told what’s wrong with us: the biases, injustices, violence, over-politicization, climate change. Let’s talk about what’s right with us: the awareness, the ability to change, the deep knowledge of what is right, our emotional resilience that has gotten us through, well, all of it.

I went to the University of Pennsylvania to study the cutting edge science of what is right with us: the study of positive psychology. Adding to the study of how we can flourish is my coaching training from Co-Active, and emotional awareness training is from the leaders in the field at Yale.

Can I help you and your team to learn the social and emotional skills to develop your best selves? Or be the best work family to each other? And if not now, when? This will be our year. XOCJ

The new dawn blooms as we free it
For there is always light,
if only we're brave enough to see it
If only we're brave enough to be it
